My China Alter-ego.

Well, Mom and Dad, I know you think I need to loosen up in college. You win. China has brought out a brand new Julie.

Don't worry, I'm still respectable :) I couldn't have changed that much.

We had to load the buses to the train station at 5 am this morning to start our journey to Shanghai. A group of about 15 of us decided to make the most of our last night in Tianjin...We stayed out all night, came back to the hotel at 4 am, showered, packed, and hopped on the bus. To say that's the craziest thing I've ever done would be a colossal understatement. We had too much fun, and it was exactly what we needed to properly say goodbye to Tianjin.

It was a 5 hour train ride to Shanghai, so we all slept during the ride. Once we arrived in Shanghai, I was completely turned around as far as my sense of time goes. What a crazy 24 hours it has been. I've never felt like such a crazy college kid.

Tonight, Man of Steel is premiering and we want to go at midnight! We are still trying to figure out how the tickets work and which theater to go to, so fingers crossed on that one!

I'm excited for the next month. I am already so close with kids on this program, it makes me sad to think about going back to tech and not seeing them all the time :(
