Kat and I just shared a freak-out moment when we realized we only have three more weeks in China. I cannot believe this summer will be ending so soon. It has exceeded my expectations in every single way and I have made friends here that I will never forget.
I am grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to come here this summer. At first, I may have thought the timing was wrong, but in the end He always has a plan and knew that these 9 weeks away were exactly what I needed.
I will look back on this summer and laugh till I cry about my experiences here. This is by far the craziest I have ever been- in a good way (I think).
Stories about staying out until the sun comes up, almost dying in crazy cab rides, being tormented at Carrefour, learning to fumble around using sign language, singing Tay Sway on stage at a bar (still not over it...), and countless other experiences will stay with me forever and ever. Our hallway in the hotel reminds me of our freshman dorms because we all leave our doors open whenever were home and just pop into each others rooms to see what's up.
This picture kills me. There's not a single word of English on this map...yet we tried to read it...CHINA
Thanks for reading up on my adventures. Sorry I have been bad at keeping up with the blog since I've been in Shanghai. That's a good indication that I've been having too much fun :)
