Mystical.

We went to the Summer Palace on Saturday with a group of 7 people. The buildings were really beautiful. But, it was cloudy because it rained off and on all weekend and in addition to the smog it made the visibility terrible! The white sky gave the whole place an eerie feeling- we almost felt like we had walked into a horror movie.

We didn't stay for very long but I'm glad we went! Before we went, a friend of ours had gone the day before and told us it was 'mystical'. We laughed at his description until we got there and totally understood why he used that word.
